SSEN Champions & RANGERS

Vanuatu’s Taboo traditional systems mean that each village is responsible for its own environmental management. For this reason, the communities of Western Santo, with the help of the Santo Sunset Environment Network, have nominated 35 individuals as ENVIRONMENT RANGERS now specially trained to help chiefs with their work of managing biodiversity and protecting the environment.
